Title: DataStage Developer/Admin

Location: Storrs, CT

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Telephonic and F2F

***Need Locals.

 

Responsibilities:

•        Develop the ETL routines for a new Data Mart Star

•        Developer ETL routines to populate Hierarchical dimension data structures (DIMS) and facts.

•        Create routines that utilize multiple sources, sometimes in different databases and extract data from LDAP and apply transformation and decision logic to load into target structures.  

•        Ability to work with complex logic and structures

•        Ability to work independently as he/she will be the "ETL Team" on the project. 

•        Data Stage (8.5) Administration

•        Define and schedule data stage jobs and transition those jobs and provide production support for existing jobs in Control-M enterprise scheduler.

 

Experience and skills:

•        5+ years of experience developing ETL routines to populate Hierarchical dimension data structures (DIMS).

•        Complex Hierarchical Modeling experience

•        Experience with Data Stage (8.5) Administration, defining and scheduling data stage jobs and be able to transition those jobs and provide production support for existing jobs in Control-M enterprise scheduler.

•        Experience with LDAP data extraction
