Job Title: Validation Analyst
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Duration: 6 month contract

 

Candidate must have at minimum 5 years of proven validation strategy, troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Candidate must have high confidence in communicating validation advice/recommendations. Candidate must be able to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously. Candidate with previous Amgen experience huge bonus.

 

This position supports validation activities in support of full-life cycle management of computer related system validation (instruments and applications). This includes understanding of hardware and software of computer systems that are used to collect scientific data in the lab environment, validation and support of scientific applications, and ensuring that IT best practices are followed. The job requires ensuring systems remain in a validated state by strict adherence to SOPs. This will include authoring/reviewing and review of execution of validation documents (VP, RS, IQ, QT/CQ, RTM and VSR), reviewing of SOPs, and reviewing change control records to maintain validated state of systems. Validation Analyst is also responsible for effective communication and follow through to ensure critical systems are always available and clients are informed of project status.

Amgen exp would be nice
Testing is only a part of the job
Quality Center scripts
Documentation and communication a key
Risk mitigation and common sense
Data migration plans for migration
Testing deviation in Quality Center must tell complete story to inform testing team
