Network Engineer

Responsible for the implementation, enhancement, and troubleshooting of our global network infrastructure. Need strong technical skills with routing and firewall operations while maintaining high security. Maintenance and implementation of WAN technologies will be routine.
Responsibilities:
Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN network equipment and related services across multiple geographies
Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems of varying degrees of complexity
Installation and maintenance of network hardware in remote co-location facilities.
Assist in network operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configuration.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
Required Skills:
· 2+ years working in Internet related fields
· Experience with Cisco NX-OS, and IOS-XE (PANOS a Plus)
· Experience with network virtualization technologies
· Experience with Firewall configuration and maintenance
· Security centric with experience in crypto technologies (IKE, IPSEC, SSL)
· A strong understanding of the OSI network model and TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, etc
· Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols, WAN Optimization, network monitoring and security utilities.
Desired Skills:
· Palo Alto Networks Firewall Experience
· Silver-Peak Experience (Wan Optimization and SDWAN)
· Experience with BGP, QoS, F5 Load-Balancers
· Bachelor's degree (preferably engineering related)
· Current CCNA
· Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems operation and server operating systems
