We are looking for a hands-on role for a Java Server developer to build scalable, high-performance web/API applications.

This individual must be proficient in Java's data structures including manipulating binaries.

This job requires a good understanding of REST principles, and REST API development.

· It would be helpful to understand such data encoding schemes as ASN.1 and Base64. Having knowledge of NoSql technology such as Cassandra, having working experience on large scale web applications deployed across multiple data centers, and having basic understanding of various security concepts including PKI and Cryptography would be a plus.

· This individual will help with coding specified functions defined in the design specification as well as working on developing unit tests to be used during regression testing. Familiarity with svn and git is a plus. This individual will also be responsible for managing our test environment where the initial code will be deployed for dev-level testing.

Maintain:

Support:

The purpose of this contract is to acquire an ASP.NET Programmer to:

Provide enhancement and upgrade programming support for existing Motor Carrier Transportation (MCTD) Web-based applications to update current functionality while maintaining ODOT Security concerns.

Contractor shall provide expert computer programming analysis and development expertise to design, develop, test and implement enhancements and upgrades to MCTD Web based applications. Description (including, but not limited to):

1. Development and enhancement of applications based on established design specifications

2. Analysis, design, coding, component/assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team

3. Implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements

4. Writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions, maintenance (including production support)

5. Unit testing applications and developing system and user documentation
