Silverlight Developers

Our client is in need of 10 developers for a 4+ month project moving Oracle data into a client facing portal showing financial charts and reports using the latest graphic capabilities of Silverlight.

Requirements:

At least 2-3 years of experience with Silverlight and/or MFC.

Proficiency with Silverlight 4, using Visual Studio 2010 and TFS (Team Foundation Server) for development.
Strong experience with XML/XAML.
Some experience using WCF Web Services.
MVVM is used to connect the WCF Web Services to the UI controls on the Silverlight client.
Any familiarity with SharePoint object model and Telerik controls is

Description:

a) Dedicated .NET tester to work on the "Test Manager" Application from Microsoft. This is a test management suite form Microsoft, similar to Quality Center.

b) Since this tool is relatively new (part of Visual Studio 2010), we do not expect anybody to be an expert in the tool. But a .NET tester (who has used QC) should be able to explore and help out with this new system.

c) The project is a pilot project with Agile development methodology; the Sprint planning starts this week. Experience on Agile is MUST

d) The responsibilities of this candidate would include helping define the team the test criteria using user stories and create functional test cases.

e) The candidate should also document the "Test Manager" configuration and usage process for further use.

Responsibilities:
SharePoint 2010 Engineer/Support Analyst is responsible for with all aspects of SharePoint 2010 infrastructure. The analyst will support all the components of the SharePoint environment including typical system administrative activities such as server administration tasks,monitoring site performance, testing of software releases, disaster recovery plan, back-up, restore, performance analysis, and issue resolution. Analyst will analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and creation of technical specifications for implementation or improvement to the infrastructure.

Provides SME knowledge on installation and configuration of SharePoint 2010
Implementation and support of Web Front End, Database, and application and search servers
Administer, maintain and manage the SharePoint farms and databases
Collaborate with infrastructure and DBA groups on back-up and disaster recovery tasks
Perform SharePoint security audits and manage security for all sites and sub sites
Accountable for the SharePoint 2010 (internal and external facing) Infrastructure
Accountable for following lifecycle development processes and procedures

Experience and Education Required:
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint 2010
Complete understanding of SharePoint integration with Office 2010, Lync, and Exchange Server
Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Central Administration, Services, IIS, Web Parts, and site collection settings
Must be familiar with SharePoint authentication functionality and configuration for Extranet access to the platform
Experience with security set-up in a SharePoint 2010 environment
Experience with configuring SharePoint Search and Federated Search
Ability to administer SharePoint 2010 to include installing and configuring large web farm topology
Ability to deploy SharePoint Solutions, Web Parts, and Applications Demonstrate ability maintaining SQL database solutions
Exposure to Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery planning, and ITIL is a plus
Experience with process and quality management.

Participate in Requirements and Code handoffs with the other groups in the Development lifecycle
Communicate accurate status updates at agreed intervals. Including milestone updates, risks and technical challenges
