Job Title:                     Database Administrator

Work Location:           Long Island, NY

Duration:                     4+ month

 

 4+ years experience as a Database Administrator with relational database systems in a Windows/UNIX/Linux Server enterprise environment (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle).

 

·         4+ years experience as a Database Administrator working with database security, administration, maintenance and performance of enterprise Business Applications (e.g. SAP).

·         4+ current years experience with enterprise backup / restoration solutions (e.g. EMC Networker,) including SRDF, BCV's and Split Mirror technologies.

·         Experience supporting databases in a clustered and virtualized (e.g.  VMWARE ESX) environment.

·         Experience with enterprise ticketing solutions (e.g. BMC Remedy).

·         Prior pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience desirable.

 

Licensure/Credentials:

 

Oracle RAC Expert, Performance Tuning or Implementation Specialist certification is a plus.

Knowledge of ITIL processes required (v3). ITIL certification is a plus.

 

Work performed

 

·         Perform installation of Oracle 10g / 11g from scripts

·         Perform patching and updating of Oracle 10g / 11g from scripts

Position Summary:

·  5 years experience with Gentran Integration Suite

·  Proficient in using the BP Modeler and the Gentran Mapper.

·  Experience with development of 810, 850, 855, 852, 856, 867 & 844 maps required

·  JD Edwards and SAP Required

Role:               Data Modeler Analyst

Location:         Milwaukee, WI

Length:            3+ months

Description:

Familiarity with DB2 and Data Stage. Performs data analysis to determine data quality issues.  Develops functional design interfaces and data conversions.  Creates plan for ETL and conversion tech design, build and implementation. Inspects data and data conversion technical designs to ensure adherence to functional designs.

 

Responsible for: Complete analysis of existing data entry points for master data and develop estimates for eliminating duplicate entry points will focus on MDR, Customer and Product master data entry points.
