Job Responsibilities:
Take ownership of data for the applications that IT Logistics team supports
Review business requirements and evaluate alignment with data models
Develop technical specifications
Develop Reports and dashboards using Cognos Reports application and appropriate supporting technology, such as ETL, Framework

Develop Reports and dashboards using Cognos Reports application and appropriate supporting technology, such as ETL, Framework
Manager, SQL Stored Procedures, Business Views, Data Warehouse concepts and other third party tools
Be accountable for all interfaces to and from IT Logistics Solutions
Manage relationship with external resources
Be responsible for performance making improvements as needed to ensure stabilization
Utilize best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Partner with Business and IT teams to remedy issues and implement changes
Provide a high level of customer service
Communicate clearly and timely
Be proactive and escalate as necessary

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Business or related field is desired; equivalent work experience in information technology will be considered
Five (5) years experience with Cognos (ETL, Framework Manager, Report development) plus skills to create a data warehouse using the

process of ETL (Extract Transform and Load) and the component SSIS (SQL Integration Services)
Previous experience working with both operational databases and decision support systems
Strong understanding of data models, defining data dictionaries, reporting data requirements, system interfaces and data conversion
Experience with Crystal v10+
Experience with Linux, AIX, Oracle, and/or Windows environments is preferred
Excellent communication and project management skills
Works independently or as part of a team
Retail industry experience is preferred
