Job title     :    QA Analyst
Location    :    Pasadena, CA (Local to CA only )
Duration   :    6 Months
Rate            :    $42/Hr On W2
Need EAD/GC/Citizen !!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform Certification testing for Local and National initiatives;
Write and implement test plans for new code, regression test legacy code, and catalog test data/test documentation.
Communicate effectively with the Development Leads, internal managers, project management and other IT teams to review documentation and identify testing needs.
Develop automated scripts and utilities to convert manual workflow into repeatable electronic processes.
Work on large, complex projects that have enterprise impact and require subject matter expertise of multiple electronic systems.
Contribute to task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules.
Work with clients and team to document, review, and validate integration and information interchange specifications by utilizing Use

Cases, functional specifications, and practical test documentation.
Create Testing Dashboards to communicate project status, risk assessments and provide input so that a recommendation on the quality of the system can be made by your management; ensure that sufficient documentation is available to solve technical problems. 

Use of testing experience to report & resolve defects in Quality Center.
Work independently and work with peers when guidance is required.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Participate in internal design reviews
Contribute to production readiness/hand-off review before go-live.
Demonstrated commitment to successful project delivery.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Four (4) or more years experience testing web services and MQ / Messaging solutions.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (ex. iTKO LISA, Mercury Quality Center, QTP, WinRunner).
Proven experience performing system and integration testing for distributed applications built with EAI and SOA technologies (Web

Services, J2EE, JMS, MQ, BPEL).
Knowledge of WebSphere Integration Broker, WebSphere Application Server, DataPower, WebSphere Services Registry and Repository

(WSRR), ITCAM for SOA, PKI, WS-Security, SAML
Proficient UNIX environment skills including UNX scritpint (PERL and shell scripts).
Direct experience performing testing across multiple business units or internal teams.
Ability to decompose documents to create test cases and scenarios for complex integrations.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; good listener.
Ability to prioritize work load and consistency meet deadlines.

 

TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGIES
SOAPUI, XMLSpy, HL7, UNIX, WebSphere, AIX, IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere Message Broker (WMB), EDI messages (ex. X12 834),

DataPower, Microsoft BizTalk, XML, TCP/IP, Remedy Quality Center/Test Director or equivalent, StarTeam.

 

EDUCATION
BA or BS Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent combination of

education and experience is required.
