Job title     :   QA Engineer
Location    :    Los Angeles, CA
Duration   :   6 Months
Rate            :   $40/Hr
Must be local to Los Angeles(CA) or Dallas (TX)

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review, analyze, and validate data mapping specifications for data integration software development projects.
Generate and maintain data mapping documentation for future change requests to existing data integration functionality.
QA Testing of data integration enhancements and requests.
Automate of Data Validation Tests
Independently analyze data, identify anomalies, determine cause/scope, and suggest options for conversion and cleanup. Develop and

generate SQL queries.

Troubleshoot and generate Root Cause Analysis of reported Job Failures.
Work closely with the Business Groups to drive data mapping specs to completion.
Automate regression and manual testing suite, implement automation and set up QTP. Framework will be developed to allow the business users to create test cases.
Their environment is QTP, backend is SQL Server, working with web applications and in a Windows environment

 

REQUIREMENT:
4 years Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
5 years Hands-On SQL Experience
5 yeas Quality Assurance Testing
5 years in QA testing with automation experience in QTP.
Should have experience building the automation frameworks in QTP
Experience in quality center.
MS SQL Server database testing experience.
Testing SAAS applications is a plus.
Need strong communication skills and work in a team environment.

 

NOTE: (1) Client environment is QTP, backend is SQL Server, working with web applications and in a Windows environment.
(2) They should have actually written the scripts and not just worked with record & playback.
