Job role: Network Architect / Specialist 

Location: Raleigh NC 

Duration: 12+ Months 

****Must have Intelligent Transportation Devices (traffic cameras and message boards experience****

We are looking for someone who possesses strong communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with other areas within the technology division.  Would prefer someone with experience in IoT deployments, cellular network deployments, knowledge of network concepts including, firewalls, VPN, wireless network concepts, remote SCADA device management, and streaming video distribution in a multicast environment.  Certifications in network design, experience with implementing changes within a formal change management system preferred.

Must have: 

• College or university graduate with a degree in information technology, engineering, telecommunications, computer science or business administration

• Experience in Network Design and Configuration with experience in multicasting

• Experience as a Business Analyst

• Experience in Intelligent Transportation Devices (traffic cameras and message boards)

• Experience working directly with Business Unit personnel

• Experience with IT Architecture documents and design

• Experience with Microsoft Technologies

Desired skills: 

IOT Deployment

Cellular Network Deployment

remote SCADA device management

Knowledge of network concepts including, firewalls, VPN, wireless network
