We have an urgent requirement for a technical lead. This is a Contract position based in Des Moines, IA
NO OPT/CPT Consultants
Position: Technical lead
Location: Des Moines, IA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Client: Athene/TCS
Looking for candidates who can report and work from the Customer work location Des Moines, IOWA from Day 1
Tech Lead with C#, .NET, MVC, MS SQL & SSIS
Relevant Experience (in Yrs): 9+ years
Technical/Functional Skills:
A strong hand on experience with C#, .NET, MVC, MS SQL & SSIS, and team lead skillset
Experiencing in customizing, modifying, developing, and implementing updates to software applications;
Writing and maintaining SQL scripts, indexes, and complex queries
Performed storing, retrieving, and manipulating data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements using SQL and Microsoft Management Studio
Knowledge of Annuity or Insurance products is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of large-scale internal software applications or related technologies.
Strong sense of teamwork and ability to both lead and execute programs.
Experience with Agile projects is preferred.
Should have good communication and collaboration skills.
Should have good documentation skills.
Should have experience with JIRA / Confluence.
Experience Required 9+ years
Roles & Responsibilities:
Writing and maintaining SQL scripts, indexes, and complex queries
Storing, retrieving, and manipulating data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements using SQL and Microsoft Management Studio;
Designing and developing SSIS; C#; ASP.NET; MVC applications; analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost restraints;
coordinating software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met; gathering business requirements and convert them
into SQL stored procedures; an end to end system Testing, Performance and regression testing and data validations and Unit Testing; presenting the data analysis to higher management teams;
