{Job Junction} Hybrid - Build and release admin with Strong J2EE - Durham NC

Hi Guys,

Today I am looking to hire Build/Release Administrator with strong administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat and Jboss based in Durham NC

 

This is a long term contract with Hybrid schedule

 

Pay - $50-60/hr on C2C max

 

Type: Contract 12+ Months

Location: Durham NC 27709

Pay: $50-60/hr on C2C all-inclusive

 

***Candidate with previous State government program expeirnece will get first preference****

 

Certifications and hands-on experience on cloud platforms required (example: Azure, GCP, AWS etc.)

 

Complete Description:

The client requires the assistance of a contract resource to serve as a Build/Release Administrator to manage and upgrade source code repository Bitbucket/GIT/SVN for client applications; manage and support configuration changes; troubleshoot issues related to branching/merging and code repository.

This position will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the code repository upkeep and upgrade, managing and automating branch/Merge processes for the applications by preparing and executing automation scripts.

The position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining Ansible for automating various build/deploy tasks, providing support for Linux Administration efforts of AWS EC2 instances.

6+ years of expertise required with the below skill set:

Knowledge and experience of administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat and Jboss

Experience in working with following operating systems: AIX, RHEL, and Windows Server 2008.

Knowledge and experience in J2EE-specific application hosting, including VM tuning, application tracing/debugging, and application deployment.

Knowledge and experience with J2EE application building/deployment techniques and tools including, but not limited to Ant, Maven, Ivy etc

Experience with automation technologies for the related platforms (OS and Application) such as Ansible, UNIX shell script, Perl, Python, etc.

Experience and/or certification in cloud platform like AWS, Azure, GCP
