Title : Oracle developer (Rate: $40/hr)

Location: NYC, NY and Jersey city, NJ

Duration: 6+Months

 

Job Description:

·         SQL Coding experience: Medium to High : 5 years experience as an Oracle SQL developer; Code complex Procedures, Functions, packages, create tables/views, indexes, sequences, triggers, materialized views, AQ, Jobs, Synonyms.

·         Tools used: TOAD, SQL Developer , ER-win

·         Oracle Database Experience: the candidate must be primarily an Oracle experienced SQL developer - and not a SQL developer for another Database; Familiar with Oracle Objects such as System Tables, Redo logs, Tablespaces, min/max increases, multi-threading.

·         Troubleshooting experience: Identify potential enhancements in the explain Plan Table for a given query, being able to optimize and tune queries.

·         Warehouse development experience: Design and create schemas that support warehouse and star schema for a high volume multi-threading applications.

·         Migration experience: Generate SQL scripts for DB objects, validate scripts, submit DB requests and follow up.

·         Fast Learner and multi-tasking

·         As specs change frequently, the candidate must be able to be simultaneously be working on DEV changes/testing, while keeping track of QA testing, and UAT and PROD migration requests and troubleshooting.
