Description:

This position is for multiple high profile web and mobile application development projects within the FSE section.

These projects include development of RESTful web services, .Net MVC web applications with an Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 backend, mainframe applications that have to be converted to the web using ASP.Net MVC while maintaining connectivity with DB2.

Additionally, there is an initiative to develop a pilot mobile application with a vendor.

The immediate responsibility for this position is to work with the vendor for development of services that will help integrate with the pilot mobile application under development.

This position will them move to extending these services to support the full mobile application development, participate in mobile application development if required using Objective C and participate in design and development of upcoming projects in ASP.Net web forms as well as ASP.Net MVC.

 

Project Duties include requirements analysis, design, web application development, testing, and implementation and leading/mentoring a team in the use of Restful services, Web APIs, JSON, ASP.Net MVC, AJAX, JQuery, JQuery UI and Telerik controls.

Deliverables include architecture and design documentation, documentation that provides guidance for development to new developers, estimates for design and development and quality code developed on time.
