Title: CyberSecurity RSA Resident Engineer

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Type of position: 18 Months Contract

 

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

The RSA Security Analyst will be a resident engineer on site working out of 2MTC, Brooklyn. The engineer will act as the technical lead through the full course of the project timeline (18 months). He/She will be the resident subject matter expert on the RSA Netwitness security analytics solution implemented at Client. The primary job responsibility of the engineer would include delivering on the technical goals of the Security Analytics project, which are; providing expert advice and guidance during the implementation of the solution, tuning the system to perform optimally by providing necessary inputs to Client's project team consisting of employees, consultants and project manager.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

•         Convert business requirements into solutions.

•         Implement customizations as requested by the business owner of the project.

•         Provide reports and automations as required

•         Lead security incident and investigations from the technical side utilizing the RSA Netwitness tools.

•         Write detailed incident reports and investigation reports.

Will be a technical contributor for writing design document, implementation documents, run book and troubleshooting guides.

 

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

•             A minimum of 8 years of experience managing RSA Netwitness tools.

•             Experience with conducting investigations and incident response.

•             Sound knowledge of network protocols, technologies and incident response methodologies.

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE :

•         RSA Netwitness certification

•         ITIL certification

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : The candidate should be a RSA employee working with the professional services team at RSA.
