Job Role: Oracle Database Admin 

Location: Lansing MI 

Duration: 12+ Months 

Must have Oracle Spatial experience. 

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field appropriate for the assignment plus five years of experience.

This position REQUIRES Oracle Spatial experience. Please note what projects the candidate has experience with Oracle Spatial in both the resume and on the paragraph in the Summary of Qualifications tab.

Experience with Oracle Spatial

Provide support for growing Oracle Spatial needs, including installation, tuning, and trouble shooting

Experience with Oracle 11g, 12c

Working knowledge of DDL, DML, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, constraints, and cursors

Proficiency with Oracle performance tuning

Proficiency with database backup and recovery using Oracle RMAN

Ability to analyze and design physical databases and their definitions

Experience with Oracle on Solaris

Experience managing databases up to 10+ TB

Knowledge of Shell Scripting

Knowledge of EMC and NetApp SAN hardware

Data guard, compression, backup tools

Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming experience
