Title: Tableau Developer Location: Palo, Alto, CA Type: Contract 6-12 Months +   ***Must Share Tableau Dashboard samples*****  ***Must have 3+ years experience as Tableau Developer****    Our client engaged in merging artificial intelligence with computer vision for safer, smarter driving and a more connected future is growing their Data Team in Palo Alto, CA. Ground floor opportunity with an exciting growth company on a mission changing the world with a product built to get people around cities safely and more efficiently.    Responsibilities include: ·         Proficient in Tableau Desktop, Server and Web ·         Able to design, build, maintain & deploy complex reports in Tableau ·         Expertise in Data Visualization including effective communication with stakeholders, designing effective visualizations and best  practices. ·         Creating dynamic dashboards using parameters, filters, calculated fields and applying a level of details functionality. ·         Knowledge of best practices and experience optimizing Tableau for performance and working with extracts. ·         Experience performing basic administration tasks in Tableau Server for a ·         production environment. ·         Publishing, scheduling, and permissions. ·         Understand basic statistical routines (mean, percentiles, trend lines, ·         significance, correlations) with the ability to apply in data analysis. ·         Experience with connecting and blending multiple data sources. ·         Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using standard statistical tools and techniques. Basic Qualifications ·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience ·         Four years of experience in data warehousing & BI technologies ·         Two years of experience in developing reports in Tableau ·         Have good understanding of Tableau architecture, design, development, and end-user experience. ·         Medium to Expert knowledge of SQL and optimization techniques. ·         Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data models. Pluses ·         Very proficient in working with large Databases in Big Data technologies. ·         Working knowledge of AWS ·         Experience with software development methodologies and Agile.
