Job Title : CSS Architect
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 6+ months contract

Job Description:
This Requirement is for a CSS Architect to consolidate, provide governance and design a CSS Architecture/Framework for a leading retailer's Design System. The Customer facing channels will consume the unified CSS framework across their microsites

Core Competencies:
Working knowledge of modern Javascript (ES6/ES7)
Expert CSS/HTML
Strong understanding of Responsive Web Design/Development
Experience building high performance web UI using React or Angular
Experience building CSS architecture using OOCSS, SMACSS, BEM,  and other UI Architecture patterns
Experience building Component Libraries using React Storybook, Styleguidist, or something similar
Ability to write clean, modular, reusable code
Strong understanding of CSS Preprocessors (SASS, LESS, PostCSS)
Good Understanding of UX Design tools and principals (Zeplin, Sketch, Atomic Design, Design Systems, etc)
Large PLUS if the candidate has experience using  Amazon's open source library called Style Dictionary which is a tool that allows us to define styles using "design tokens" and JSON so that the Design System can be consumed by all channels (Desktop/Mobile Web, Android, and iOS)
Bachelors with good communication skills
