Job Role: Sr. AWS Solution Engineer/Architect

Location: Durham, NC 27709 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ months

Pay: $80-90/hr all-inclusive

***Candidate with prior State client experience will get first preference*****

***Overall-12-15 years experience required including 8 years with creating composable software solutions on the AWS cloud using low-code (Power Apps, SalesForce etc.) and cloud-based technologies*****

This position requires understanding of requirement from customer perspective, designing a scalable and modular software solutions using low/no code platform on AWS cloud. The position requires substantial communication and interactions with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture team, and other engineers to establish guidelines and guardrails for system/infrastructure enhancements, and providing analysis of software, technology, design for various business needs.

Individual is expected to have strong knowledge with AWS infrastructure, low code software platforms (like SalesForce, PowerApps) and integration platform (Like IBM ACE, MuleSoft). This is not just an automation/DevOps engineer position.

 

Required over 8 years of expertise with the below skill set:

Experience in creating composable software solutions on the AWS cloud using low-code (Power Apps, SalesForce etc.) and cloud-based technologies.

Strong hands-on programming experience in Webhook and API development using technologies like Node.js, Ruby, Python, Deno

Experience with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, open-source Java framework, Struts/Springs, Ajax (JQuery, Dojo), SOA, and Web Services

Experience in Cloud infrastructure to research, develop and implement technical designs for Servers, Storage and app services on AWS

Solid understanding of VPCs, Subnet configuration, route table, Internet gateway, VPC peering, Transit gateway, VPC Link.

Hands on experience in AWS storage services (like S3, FSx, EBS, EFS etc.)

Understanding of Enterprise Integration patterns (event/message, request/response, batch) using software integration tools.

Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment, where priorities and direction can change depending on business needs / opportunities.

AWS Cloud Certified

Ability to communicate effectively at all job levels, use excellent evaluation skills, and ability to relay information in legible reports as required
