Job Description:

In this position, you will analyze business requirements and architect and design software systems. You will be responsible for coding; code review; unit and system testing. Requirements:

Expert in Microsoft .net technology - C#, ASP.Net, VB.Net,MSTest, Jquery, Ajax.
3 years minimum of WCF or RESTful services
Expert in Object Oriented Programming and concepts are a must have.
Strong knowledge of software development, debugging and deployment tools.
Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and MSMQ.
Sound software architecture and design skills. Experience in layered architecture.
Good knowledge of well known design patterns. Creation of technical models and documentation.
Nice to have experience with MSTEST< Entity Framework, and LINQ
Able to analyze business requirements, propose technical solutions, and perform scoping and estimation of projects.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Job Summary:

The Senior Genesys Engineer is an experienced contact center technical expert. This individual works on projects that are highly visible and have broad enterprise implications for the business and the IT architecture. The individual designs, develops and implements technology solutions related to Telephony, Genesys Call Routing, Framework, GVP/IVR, Reporting and associated contact center technologies. This is a deep technical position requiring in depth knowledge and experience with these technologies.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Responsible for the support and maintenance of the Genesys environment. Must respond to the needs of associates and business groups, as it relates to voice communication activities. Aids in the support of dependent technologies which include; Genesys, Symon, Siemens and NICE.

Project Implementation

§ Manage SR’s and technical discussions with the vendor.
§ Provide inputs to the creation and maintenance of the Project Quality Plan.
§ System configuration and testing.
§ Act as an interface between onsite and offshore team for all given projects.
§ Act as a point of escalation to both onsite and offshore team appropriately.
§ Participate in project review meetings.

Development & Support

§ Participate in the problem-solving process, and identify the impact of other groups' activities on systems/technology.
§ Respond to and resolve escalated issues.
§ Act as a subject matter expert for the service and provide guidance to resolve detailed system-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

Genesys

Minimum 5 years experience in a position where deploying and supporting Genesys Universal Routing, Reporting, SIP, Media, and GVP solutions are core components of the job. Must have in depth knowledge and experience installing, configuring, testing, and deploying version 8.x of Genesys Frameworks components including;

§ Configuration layer – Configserver (including proxies), config database.
§ Management layer – Solution Control Server, SCI, Message Server, log db.
§ Media layer – SIP Server, Media Control Platform, GVP
§ Services layer – Stat Server
§ Supervisor Desktop, Administrator, Administrator Extensions

UNIX/Linux

Unix performance monitoring monitoring CPU, memory, netstat, and disk I/O and utilization.
Shell scripting - understanding of Korn Shell programming.
Utilization of various command line tools such as ftp, file compression, and db2 command line tools.

Database

Star Schemas, ETL concepts, ability to code complex SQL. Understanding of tables, views, table spaces, database performance and monitoring, and data aggregation. Good working knowledge of Infomart and Interaction Concentrator.

Optional skills desired;

§ Avaya AES
§ Cisco VoIP Platform

Certifications Strongly Desired:
Genesys Certified Engineer or other industry standard certification
