Skills Required and Job Description:
| MOI:- Telephonic + Face 2 Face - provide ssrs report writing services and also business intelligence research - creating new and modifying existing reports - provide support to business analyst(s) in gathering and/or clarifying data and reporting requirements from business owners - develop reports in accordance with client requirements using microsoft sql server reporting services (ssrs) 2008r2 - develop and maintain database stored procedures - develop sql queries and support ad hoc requests for data - identify and troubleshoot business process or data quality issues that show up in the reports and subsequently communicate to resolve and eliminate problems required skills and experience: - bs/ba in a technical field: computer science, engineering or it related discipline - 5 years of experience with report development using microsoft sql server reporting services (ssrs) 2008r2 - 5 years of experience with ssrs business intelligence developer studio, visual studio, sql server integration services (ssis), and/or other (non-microsoft) reporting platforms - 2 years of working in a data warehouse environment with business intelligence applications - experience designing and developing reports including tabular reports, scorecards and dashboards - ability to understand business needs and information and translate into a creative reporting solution - experience writing stored procedures, t-sql, pl-sql, functions, and sql queries - experience utilizing report writing best practices (optimization, use of joins and sub-queries) - experience with manual testing to include user acceptance testing (uat) - ability to use complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, optimize and format custom reports - experience pulling data from microsoft sql server 2008r2 and oracle databases for reports - experience with cubes and drill down reports preferred skills and experience: - 1 year of experience with crystal enterprise and migrating crystal reports to ssrs |
