Job Title:Agile PM

Location: Scottsdale AZ

Duration: 6 months

Agile PM" profiles. "Scrum Master" certification is certainly an added advantage.

DESCRIPTION:

1. Continuously monitors team throughput and velocity to achieve iteration goals and commitments

2. Uses technical and functional knowledge to remove roadblocks within the standing team and identify technical risks (e.g., risks with architecture, design, patterns, performance, etc.); communicates obstacles requiring outside resolution to the Project Manager

3. Facilitates effort estimates with the team to support release, iteration and project forecasting/ funding process within Scottsdale Insurance Company.

4. Ensures the team is ready for release and iteration planning by inspecting functional requirement quality (e.g., use cases, stories, etc.)

5. Leads iteration planning collaboratively, working with the Business Lead or Product Owner to build and maintain a prioritized product backlog

6. Leads retrospective, daily standup and show-and-tell meetings s to encourage collaboration, communication, feedback and learning among the team

7. Communicates transparently with dependent projects as to the standing teams' activities and progress, supporting program/project risk mitigation, issue escalation and status reporting

8. Drives team performance by eliminating waste and fostering an environment of continuous improvement, including facilitating decision making and protecting the team from outside forces and distractions

9. Continuously improves iteration management capabilities by identifying best practices, adopting consistent, standard work and coaching/pairing across teams
