Job Title:Cognos Enterprise

Location: Long Island NY

Duration: 6 months

DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate should have experience in Cognos, SAP and Planning or Controllership functions. This individual will also partner with other EFP service delivery areas to assist in finance improvement solutions across the Enterprise and support the Segments as requested.

Provide first level end user support (issue resolution and escalation) - System cycle preparation and maintenance for Forecast, Planning, and Quarterly close cycles - Ongoing system enhancements (recommendations, testing, implementation and training) - Business intelligence reporting support - Partner with other service delivery areas to generate metrics to obtain trends and patterns of finance process deficiencies

BS / BA in Finance / Accounting, MBA preferred - Minimum 5 years relevant experience with large enterprise financial planning and reporting systems. Including external reporting and internal management reporting - Minimum 3 years of Cognos reporting or planning (Analysis Studio, Report Studio, Query Studio or EP, TM1) with experience in a corporate, segment or business unit - Experience with business analytic environments - Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues. - Strong presentational skills - Ability to work within a matrix organization - Prior project implementation experience including process development and requirements gathering, preferred - Excellent organization, communication and time management skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
