Need: Network Architect in North Chesterfield, VA

Duration: 6 Months

 

Description:

•        5 years of Extensive knowledge and experience with High Availability Networks (Required)

•        5 years of Extensive background in network design, including Wide Area Networking (WAN), Local Area Networking (LAN), Multiple Protocol Labeling Switching (Required)

•        5 years of Extensive knowledge of current state of the art in switches, routers and firewalls (Required)

•        5 years of Extensive knowledge of network security, including planning and implementation (Required)

•        5 years of Knowledge of project management practices, including the development of schedules and budgets (Highly desired)

•        5 years of Experience developing project plans, schedules and budgets (Highly desired)

•        3 years of Experience coordinating with vendors (Highly desired)

•        7 years of  Strong oral and written communications skills (Required)

 

Desired knowledge skills and abilities

•        Extensive knowledge and experience with high availability networks

•        Extensive background in network design, including Wide Area Networking (WAN), Local Area Networking (LAN), Multiple Protocol Labeling Switching (MPLS), DS3

•        Experience planning and implementing network designs, including WAN, LAN, MPLS

•        Extensive knowledge of current state of the art in switches, routers and firewalls

•        Extensive knowledge of network security
