| MOI:- Telephonic + Face 2 Face The selected candidate will perform the following duties: - Function as a senior technical resource for a high-profile agile development effort - Responsible for development of applications on a .NET -based platform across a development team consisting of both agency employees and contractors - Work closely with the business stakeholders, project manager, systems architect, and other ITS development and database staff
Required Skills and Experience: - 8 years of experience in performing full life-cycle development of .NET web applications and database applications using SQL Server databases - 6 years of experience in working both independently and as part of an Agile (SCRUM) development team - 8 years of experience in design and develop reports which integrate data from multiple databases and applications - 6 years of proven ability to review and repair legacy code as needed - 8 years of proven ability to document code consistently throughout the development process - 8 years of proven ability to perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality - 8 years of working collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and management to define new (and enhance existing) features that are aligned with this organization’s overall long term strategy - 8 years of working on multiple projects with multiple deadlines - 8 years of constructing user guides and documentation - General project Management skills - 8 years of experience and excellent knowledge of Transact SQL - Working experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) - 8 years’ of experience programming/applications development required - 8 years’ of experience building .NET web applications and database applications using C# - 6 years of experience with .NET Framework 3.5 or newer - Experience with technologies such as MVC, Web Services, WCF, and WPF - Object Oriented Analysis and Design experience - Strong Database development experience with SQL Server and TSQL - Excellent communications skills with technical and non-technical users/teams
Preferred Skills and Experience: - Government software development experience - Experience with web application development using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX and / or Silverlight |
