Title : Lead Analyst/Developer
Location - Marlborough, MA
Duration : 1 + Year contract

Keys to the Position:
Must have experience with some Reporting development tools which may include OBIEE, Cognos, Essbase, Brio, Microsoft Reporting Services, etc.
At least 3 + years of experience doing this. A minimum standard for this person would be to have experience adding a column to the report.
10 + years of IT experience with at least 5 years acting as a Lead Analyst or Lead Developer.
SQL skills are critical to the success of this resource – Needs to be able to write SQL Statements.
At least 5+ years of experience in Financial Services - Preferred experience would be to come from a Buy Side Asset Management firm having experience with Equities, Derivatives and Fixed Income.
Must have the ability to drive meetings and interact with the business users. This is a strategic and outcome oriented role
Candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Occasional travel to Boston will be required
Minimum Requirements:
Significant data analysis and business requirements experience
10 plus years analyst experience
7 plus years Asset Management Industry experience – Client reporting experience a plus
Strong familiarity with all asset types including Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives
Strong database and SQL skills
3 years plus experience with any of the following reporting development tools such as ER Reporting (ORS), OBIEE (Answers/Publisher), Cognos, Essbase, Brio, Microsoft Reporting Services, etc
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and a strong willingness to learn
Strong focus in problem solving and ability to define innovative solutions
Bachelor degree is required; MBA, CFA or work toward a CFA is a plus

Client Applications is seeking a Lead System Analyst candidate who will work closely with cross functional business and technology teams to define application and reporting solutions. Candidate should have a solid background in the buy side Asset Management industry and significant experience in reporting development for Investment and or Client Service business teams.
Responsibilities
Partner with the Global Relationship and Marketing Group and the Product Management business teams to identify opportunities for organizational efficiencies or areas of risk mitigation for our clients and the firm
Define requirements, contribute to technical design and recommend solutions
Perform data analysis in support of tactical and strategic initiatives
Contribute hands on to reporting development activities
Coordinate and partner with other IT teams to implement new solutions
Provide Level 3 development support, maintain issues, request tracking and status reporting
