• Administrator of various Redhat/Oracle Enterprise Linux servers in the environment
• Secondary Administrator of various IBM AIX LPARS and hardware
• Works heavily with the Oracle DBA team to automate jobs via
• Assist in planning, installation and administration of Disaster Recovery for linux/AIX servers
• Configure, update and operate monitoring of Data Center operations, including application and hardware environmental monitoring.
• Ensure all Unix/Linux based servers are adhering to change control and are audited
• Working with customers internal to troubleshoot incidents
• Maintaining documentation and diagrams for both daily operations and Disaster Recovery
• Assist Backup Administrator with Unix/Linux backups using Symantec Netbackup
• Assist with security architecture and monitoring as it pertains to linux/AIX
