Looking for a Developer Lead with SFDC Apex, Visual Force and SF Administration background for a SFDC Developer Tech Lead role. This role require SFDC development and Administrations experience. Certification being a plus but not necessarily a requirement.
The Salesforce Developer Technical Lead will be part of a team working on Salesforce.com CRM projects. This individual will have the opportunity to lead implementations of Force.com solutions for various core banking systems involving local and global resources and will become a subject matter expert in the Force.com platform, with in-depth knowledge of the schema, API calls, SCM, CM and debugging techniques. Additionally this individual will be part of a team driving the cloud computing strategy.
Technical Leads are application specialists for various delivery projects within the organization. Extensive experience in software life cycle (development, deployment, and operations support) is required. Emphasis is placed in different areas depending upon the types of the projects and types of software and packages are used.
The Tech Lead is responsible for designing and leading the implementations for one or more projects. The Tech Lead must have the capability to work with different team members under the project charter (led by a program/project manager and a delivery manager). The Tech Lead understands the business objectives of the projects, and is able to design optimized solutions that solve multiple business problems in a cost effective manner. The Tech Lead must be able to communicate the solutions and the benefits to various team members.
The Tech Lead must be able to design solutions that have long last business values with quality measured by multiple metrics (scalability, performance, security, systematic and robust deployment and operational processes, with little or no defects). In addition, most of the systems to be developed/deployed/integrated are required to be integrated with other systems that run in the organization's operational environment.
The Tech Lead owns the "Technical Design Document" and "Detailed Design Document" of the project(s) based on the organization's Technology Framework and Standards. The Tech Lead is a key contributor for the "run book" or operational manual of the systems.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· Broad experience and understanding in the following specified areas (not all required):
o SFDC platform including Apex and Visual Force
o Software Foundations and Frameworks: J2EE or .NET, CICS, COBOL, JAVA, C#, and MQ.
o Architecture: SOA
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience including 5 years proven development experience in the implementation of complex, integrated business applications across a variety of environments or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
· Highly proficient in communicating and coordinating information technology solutions and processes that aggressively support business objectives.
· Stays current with emerging technologies, industry best practices in the solution domains.
· Shows initiative, is a self-starter, able to handle multiple priorities and has excellent time management skills.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
· Technology experience in the following:
o SalesForce.com experience
o Apex server side programming language
o Force.com Web Services API
o Visualforce MVC and metadata-driven UI
o Force.com Database Services
o Object Oriented software application design and development – Java, .Net, C#, Open Source
o Knowledge of Web Services, XML, HTML, SOAP, JavaScript, PHP, Workflows, Triggers, JSP/ SP.NET
o UML
o Experience with relational databases DB2, Oracle, SQL Server or others
o Certified Force.com developer a plus.
o Integration with Microsoft Office and SharePoint a plus.
