Job Title: Java Production Support

Location : Monterey Park, CA

Duration: Long Term

 

Skill Description:
1.        2+ years of development experience in Java technologies (Core Java, Servlets, EJB, JSP etc.)
2.        2+ years of supporting cluster of Java applications across multiple lines of business.
3.        Thorough understanding of web application infrastructure (physical architecture, web architecture)
4.        Deep understanding of web server and application server operations
5.        Should have supported at least 20 plus applications as part of an onsite offshore team providing 24/7 support across geographies
6.        Good communication skills and ability to lead and orchestrate conference calls with technical and leadership teams
Job Description
1.        Support about 80 web/Java applications as part of an onsite offshore team providing 24/7 support across geographies
2.        Provide US day time support to these applications as part of a 4 member onsite team
3.        Lead and organize DR exercise.
4.        Manage the offshore team and complete end/start of the day hand-over and take-over tasks.
5.        Work on production incidents and circumvent the issues. Provide root cause analysis
