Location: San Antonio, TX

Type: Contract (2+ Years )

 

Job Description :

Requirements:
  5 OPENINGS
The candidates must have strong skills and working knowledge of VMware Virtual Infrastructure: VDI, vSphere a plus; Virtual Software Provisioning skills:  vCloud Director; possess knowledge of application installation and deployment; in-depth knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting experience in Window 7 and Windows 8.x; should be well versed with log files related Application Deployment and OS deployment. Must be able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
Excellent communication skills  ARE A MUST!!!!! You will setup/troubleshoot applications for new VDI deployments. Following technical SOPs will be key as well. This is a new team within the organization. Figuring out what applications are virtual and what are not. We would also consider Helpdesk professionals that have VDI experience. Horizon View and vCloud Director are must haves.
 
High skill level and experience is required for the following:
Virtual Desktop Administration (desired: VMware Horizon View). Application installation, support, testing, and troubleshooting skills. Virtual software provisioning skills (desired: VMware vCloud Director). Windows Desktop Administration Skills (desired: Microsoft 7, Windows 8.x)  
                                                   
Any experience mentioned below is a PLUS
Deployment & Configuration Automation Experience. Virtualization Infrastructure Experience (desired:  VMware vSphere). DB Administration Experience. Backup and Restore Experience (desired: NetBackup). System Monitoring Experience (desired: Zabbix)
