Role : JavaScript developer
Location: Silver spring, MD.
Locals to MD/DC/VA only
Phone + F2F required
Length: End of 2015 (most likely extended for ALL of 2016)
Key SKILLS :
- JavaScript frameworks: Angular or Bootstrap translate a lot better for their environment then JQUERY
- Focus more on Spring/hibernate when it comes to backend not ibatis/mybatis (they have people who are stronger with this)
- ORM-Object relational mapping some experience with this
This project will be supporting the internal corporate teams which are the COTS systems, business systems which include, ad sales, affiliate sales, production management, and program scheduling.
Communication skills MUST BE 9/10 or better. Nothing less.
Frontend – 60%
· UI – need to have strong experience, team lacks someone with this expertise (HTML, CSS)
· Native JavaScript and understanding of building JavaScript modules (modularity)
· Dojo toolkit (based off Req.JS "Require JavaScript")
o (Angular, Kendo, Knockout) developers will
o Data is presented on the frontend in grid frameworks, any JS library with this capability would be useful (ex. D3.JS)
Backend – 40%
· Object Oriented Java
· Object Mapping using Ibatis or Hibernate
· Spring MVC/ Struts Frameworks
· Oracle database experience
Need:
Technology: Java, Spring, Struts, Hibernate or Ibatis, Oracle, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL querying
Techniques: Object Oriented Development, Object Mapping, building JS modularity, data grid frameworks
Useful: Req.JS, Angular, D3.JS, Kendo, Knockout
Ideal: DOJO toolkit, Oracle PL/SQL
