Job Title : Vmware Admin

Location : Austin ,TX

Duration : Long Term

 

 

1. Good hands on experience on Virtualization Technology
2. Experience on VMware ESX/ESXi 4.x and 5.x in heterogeneous environment
3. Installing, configuring Upgrading vCenter server 4.0/5.0/5.1/5.5.
4. Experience on Setting up, Install and configure ESX/ESXi servers
5. Knowledge and experience on P2V & V2V migrations
6. Experience in performance tuning of VMware servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines.
7. Working experience with vSphere systems administration and support including VMotion, HA, DRS, VDS, Affinity rules, VCenter, storage migration and snapshot management.
8. Experience with vSphere problem determination, capacity planning and root cause analysis.
9. Working experience with vSphere Thin Provisioning, Resource Pools, Host Profiles, and EMC plug-ins.
10. Working experience with vSphere Distributed Switch, power shell and vShield zones.
11. Working experience with VMware view5.0,Horizon view6.0
12. Installing, Configuring & Upgrading VMware view.
13. Knowledge and experience on VMware view pools like: linked clones
14. Knowledge and experience on VMware application virtualization.
15. Good understanding of related storage technologies e.g. SAN, NAS using block storage, NFS and ISCSI and Network Technologies e.g. vSwitch, VLAN, NIC Teaming, Port binding etc.
16. Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual Machines
17. Must have at least VCP 5.1 certification
18. Working experience with VMware vSphere SRM 5.0

Installation, Configuration and Administration of VMware VSphere4, ESX 3.5 and ESXi Server, VMware View.
