Job Title: RAM Engineer
Work Location: Rochester, NY
Experience: 2 to 4 Years

Client Name: One of the big implementation partners located globally
Visa Status: Any work authorization except OPT EAD / CPT EAD
Salary: 80-90K. if experienced in Rail domain (which is Mandatory), salary is not a constraint
Interview Mode: Telephonic + Skype
Required Skills:
Bachelor Engineering Degree with 2-4 years of experience
As an integral member of the signaling design and development team, the RAM Engineer is responsible for creating the RAM documentation required to verify that the design is meeting the customer RAM requirements and adhering to the established processes.
Participate in the Proposal process by understanding the customer RAM requirements and developing estimates based on both experience and "lessons learned" from similar projects.
Implement & maintain RAM performance measurement criteria and activity tracking in order to visually convey status of system operational performance against project requirements.
Participate in Project Design review and participate in the review of root cause analysis findings.
Experience in RAM engineering in a safety-critical environment preferably Railway Applications.
Experience in FMECA and RAM analysis including RAM modeling of a system using fault tree.
Experience in derivation of quantitative and descriptive RAM requirements.
Experience in availability modeling of a service network e.g. railway network.
Experience in planning and delivering RAM programme for system projects.
Competent in field failure data analysis in establishing RAM performance figures.
Significant experience in identification of RAM issues in the design and resolution of the RAM issues.
Competent in RAM modeling tools such as Reliability Work bench, AVSim+
