Job Role: Sr. Business analyst 5 / Project manager
Location: Lancing MI
Duration: 12 Months

Service as a business analyst for other projects as needed.
Job Description:
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
•Reviews analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process re-engineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and re-engineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes a detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
•Prepare and document Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting and data warehouse work. Assist with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements. Develops RFPs. Assist in deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms. Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions. Document and provide knowledge transfer to the rest of the Enterprise Reporting Team for all solutions.
•Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Experience in the IT Profession, in any role
Advanced experience in the IT industry as a business analyst.
Experience in a lead role, as a business analyst, for a complex software development project.
Experience working as a liaison between the development team and project manager or business client in a software development project.
Experience interfacing with technology leadership as well as the business client.
Ability to conduct training & information sessions, communicate at a level appropriate to the audience, make oral and written reports and presentation
Strong facilitation, written and communication skills. Required
Experience on a complex project developed using Agile
Experience in the SCRUM master role on a complex software development project.
Project management skills and knowledge in project management and related methodologies (e.g. PMI, or other industry accepted standard)
Knowledge or Experience with Lean Process Improvement (LPI) Methodology
Proficiency with MS Office
Proficiency with MS Team Foundation Server
Proficiency with MS Project
Proficiency with MS Visio
