Location: Raleigh, NC  

Duration: 12+ Month

Job Description

•     Wake Tech Community College is seeking a web developer with 3-5 years experience in maintaining internal and Web-based applications.

Sample Role Types: Developer, Programmer, Web Developer, Application Developer

 

Expected Skills: Develops and maintains applications to manage internal and Web college data.and processes.

 

Description (including, but not limited to):

1. Develops and maintains applications to manage college data and processes

2. Upgrades, repairs or replaces custom applications as needed

3. Develops and maintains application documentation 

4. Tests and manages processes and workflows

5. Tests and install new applications into production

6. Performs project management responsibilities 

7. Provide training, technical resources and support of applications to end users 

8. Maintains security and data integrity of custom applications and data

9. Maintains revision controls for all applications

Must have 

Strong experience with entire web application stack.

Prior experience with PHP frameworks.

Ability to clearly and concisely write documentation

Ability to manage and multi-task assignments

Nice to have 

Hands-on experience working with relational databases. MySQL/MariaDb preferable

Documented ability to program in at least two programming lanuages

LAMP experience preferable

Zend or Laravel experience preferable
