Role: Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Minimum 12+ Years' experience is required.

• A strong mix of Software Engineer and Operation Support skills.
• Experience in performance diagnostics, capacity planning, performance tuning, and performance monitoring.
• 2-3 years working knowledge of Linux operating systems and their underlying components, system statistics, performance tuning, file systems and IO, solid scripting skills in Perl and shell.
• Determine the availability, scalability, security and performance of the healthcare application platforms using 3rd party toolsets such as New Relic and DynaTrace.
• Candidates should also have a good working knowledge of Automation-Selenium, New Relic, and API implementations.
• It's not the creation of API's, but the integration of our code with outgoing connections to other application APIs.
• 2-3 years Working knowledge of networking, packet tracing, understanding latency and throughput.
• 2-3 years of experience with production documentation, monitoring, and capacity planning for Enterprise class applications.
• The candidate for this position really needs to be centered around monitoring and have a knowledge of several programming languages to accomplish tasks for the Customer Experience Team.
