Number of Positions: 8

Client: Semantic Space Technologies, Hyderabad.

·         Minimum 3- 5 years of exp in IT Industry

·         1-2 years of experience with test automation tools specifically QTP.

We will do a preliminary screening for the resumes shared and we are planning to have a Scheduled drive in on 17^th July 2010 at Jubilee Hills office.

Job Description: -

Understand test automation frameworks and APIs.

Preliminary implementation of the framework and automated test cases.
Lead day to day implementation effort and Task allocation for team members.
Review technical deliverables (Code Review, Release/Build management…).
Mentor to the team for Automation process and deliverables.
Lead and co-ordinate the setup, configuration and ongoing maintenance of automation test tools.
Recommend and Implement project specific framework enhancements.
Define automation guidelines to ensure quality deliverables.
Define the change management process for shared part of framework and API.
Communicate change in common test API and framework during project execution.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-

 

Candidate should be technically sound, he/she should have hands on programming skills on at least one of technologies like VB, Java , .Net or others. 
A lead level candidate must be capable of assisting his/her team in the technical front. 
Candidate must be strong in QTP, RFT, VB Script, WSH, DOM Scripting and Automation API development. 
Must be capable of developing (new)/enhancing (existing) automation framework.
Desired to have good team handling skills. 
Candidates with development background (in VB, JAVA, .NET) are preferable. 
Must be capable of handling manual test effort (Test Plan, Test Cases and other project docs) as well

 

Additional information for recruiting purposes:-

 

Manual testers without automation experience need not apply.
Experience with Product testing / Web based application testing is a must.
Should have strong written and communication skills.
Experience in projects involving offshore-onsite coordination is a must.
Working knowledge of Test Director/Quality Center, SQL Server.
Familiarity with Java, .Net, ASP concepts.
