3-7 Years SAP Configuration experience
2-3 Years knowledge of Accounting Practices in a Global Organisation
Experience of reporting with Business Intelligence
A Configuration Analyst is primarily responsible for the analysis and design aspects of the system development process. Configuration

Analyst will be expected to lead small to midsize projects, coordinating the efforts of a project team. Configuration Analyst will also be

expected to participate in configuration and testing efforts when necessary. Configuration Analyst should have strong knowledge of

departmental procedures and standards, as well as various technologies utilized by the department. Departmental procedures and

standards should be adhered to when performing assigned tasks. Should also be knowledgeable of several application modules within the organization. A Configuration Analyst should also participate in product evaluations. A Configuration Analyst will interact with the client community and therefore should possess good oral and written communication skills
 
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be responsible for the Blueprinting, design and executions stages of any future implementations of new businesses on SAP, with the finance area of SAp. Principally AR, AP and GL modules
Analyze client requests and design solutions based on stated requirements.
Act as project leader on small to mid-size projects as assigned.
Write programming specifications, in accordance with departmental standards, as assigned by a project leader or manager.
Lead configuration and testing efforts.
Update procedures, operation instructions, and any other documentation impacted by programming changes
Build an ongoing relationship with all clients that allows IT to anticipate upcoming requests
Assist other staff members when appropriate.
Participate in product evaluations as appropriate
Participate in off-shift system support as assigned.
Participate on department committees/teams within the IS department to develop various procedures/policies
