Chartis Business Intelligence Group is looking for its next talented and innovative Senior Business Analyst. We are a professional service group within a unique and successful organization working on both domestic and global initiatives to ensure our business success. Our group comprises of 30 brilliant and passionate individuals working on multiple new and exciting projects.
Responsibilities
· Organize and lead JAD/JAR sessions, focus groups and interviews with business and technical staff
· Document requirements, analyze data and deliver high quality gap analysis
· Collect and document DW/BI requirements
· Define and conduct, process and product reviews
· Participate in and support Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing
· Work with team members from multiple work streams to maintain coordination of efforts
Required Skills / Abilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
· Ability to understand and correctly apply data visualization concepts
· Ability to comprehend complex business processes and translate those to intelligible requirements
· Ability to analyze business data, draw conclusions and suggest solutions
· Proficiency in creating SDLC documents for data driven solutions, including functional and system design specifications for UI, business logic, and BI
· Experience as a liaison between business users and technical staff throughout project lifecycle
· Ability to translate and communicate complex technical specifications to business partners
· Ability to multi-task and to effectively handle changing requirements
· Familiarity with relational databases and software development tools and methodologies
· Ability to deliver informative, well-organized presentations to all levels of the organization
· Strong skills in using UML and Fully Dressed Use Cases
· Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Visio Chartis Business Intelligence Group
