Role :  Business Intelligence Architect

 

Location : WestPort , CT

 

JD :

·         Serve as  Business Intelligence design expert

·         Collaborate with peer business intelligence and data warehouse architects and developers on solution designs

·         Responsible for all technical design deliverables

·         Guide technical resources through design, construction, testing, and implementation

·         Guide technical resources in troubleshooting and tuning of reporting solutions

·         Shape and enhance the Cognos technical design and development process

·         Ensure solutions are compliant with Terex policies and standards

·         Establish Cognos security policies, including authentication and authorization processes and roles

·         Work with vendors and internal systems resources on Cognos installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and bug resolution

·         Working Knowledge and Experience designing and deploying SPSS, TM1, Pre-built Datawarehouse (Cognos Applications, OBIA are two examples)

·         Working knowledge and a willingness to learn in memory tools as well as part of a suite of offerings.

·         Keep current with Cognos software offerings and releases

·         Keep current with related business intelligence best practices

·         Work with business users to define requirements

·         Partner with TMS and various business teams to develop and improve existing data models (TWS, Power Views, Data Stores, Service Manager, Finance, TBS, Marketing…)
