Lead Engineer
Loc: Sanjose, CA
Dur: 6 months

Primary Accountabilities

Lead Architectural, Designing activity for complex operating software applications
Management of non-functional requirements
Ownership of the bigger picture
Contribute in Quality assurance
Coaching and mentoring
May provide direction and support to software engineers to orient them and increase their
understanding of more complex software engineering.
Maintains and increases professional and technical knowledge and currency by attending
workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and
participating in professional societies
Performs other duties as assigned or apparent

Key technical skills required

• BSCS or BSEE is required.  Master degree preferred

Experience working with Development methodologies like Agile & Scrum
Strong in core JAVA
Strong analytical skills.
Strong experience in Spring.
Strong experience in REST based web services.
Experience in SOAP based web services.
Experience in OSGI
Experience in NoSQL
Experience in web scale/cloud computing/distributed computing/horizontal scaling
Experience in leading team.
Experience in middleware/Service Orchestration/Business Process/ESB/Business Rules/Service

Governance/Service Composition

• Experience in:

Talking to product team and analyzing the requirements.
Come up with design proposals and presetting the design to the architect/team.
Planning the deliverables, proactive and able to work with minimal direction.
Making sure that requirements/design is communicated to offshore team
Documenting the design.
Experience in offshore team coordination
