Job Title : VMware Engineer 

Location : Austin, TX

Duration : 6+ Months Contract

Job Description

Selected individuals will be required to work in a large VMware ESX environment will they will be the point of contact for

remediation issues, upgrading firmware in HP Proliant severs (Generation H server – DL 380). 

Also on a daily basis they will be: 

running diagnostics, diagnose issues, Access iLO to re-boot servers, firmware updates, operational validation and reporting. 

Individual must have prior experience working in an enterprise environment. 

Must-Haves: 

5-7 years working as a Senior Engineer in a VMware environment 

Heavy knowledge and experience working with VMware ESX 

Must have experience with HP Proliant severs (Also known as Generation H Sever/DL 380): be able to run diagnostics on servers, diagnose issues, access HP iLO to re-boot servers, firmware updates and daily reporting. 

Experience upgrading firmware in HP Proliant servers 

Remediation experience
