Direct Client Req – "Unix/Linux Administrator" in Denver, CO

Duration: 12 Months

 

Required Skills:

1. Strong experience with Red Hat Linux

2. Strong Experience with HP-UX

3. Experience with VMWare

4. Experience with HP Virtual Machines

5. Experience with Shell Scripting

6. Experience with large scale applications

7. Experience with CommVault

8. Knowledge of Batch Processing, operations and systems

 

Preferred Skills:

1. Good communication and documentation skills

2. Previous experience with systems running Tuxedo, Oracle and Websphere a plus

3. Previous experience working with Health and Human Services Systems

4. Previous experience working with HP Itanium Servers

5. Familiarity with ITIL a plus

 

Responsibilities:

Linux/Unix Environment (excess of 125 servers)

Support 7x24 Production environment

Rotating on-call required

Full operational aspects of these Linux/Unix environments including monitoring, backup, user admin, OS maintenance, patching
