Seven (7) or more years of demonstrated experience in Java development for a senior position or five (5) or more years of experience for a junior position
Significant experience with integration methods (e.g. Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), UI, data)
Proven ability to plan and execute projects on time/within budget and a successful project deployment history
Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies (with Agile experience within the past year)
Expert in Java/J2EE stack development and the following technologies: : EJB3, JMS, Web Services, XML, HTML5, CSS JavaScript
Thorough knowledge of Java SE libraries, use of collections and high-level concurrency
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Object Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns and multi-threading
Experience with DB2/Oracle, Hibernate, JDBC
Strong SQL skills and relational database and database optimization knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
