Must-haves
3-4 years of experience in Solaris 10 / Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6 administrator
VMware / x86 blades supporting Linux
 z/ Linux experience 
Support for large Enterprise Data Centers (1,000 servers in current environment)
Shell scripting
Troubleshooting experience OS and application issues
Communication / Documentation
Weekend support / On-call support / shift (after hours) support
Oracle Hardware support
Sendmail / SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) Experience (able to install, troubleshoot, and maintain) OR OS Performance tuning/ Solaris Operations Manager

DNS experience
Experience with SYSLOG-NG
Operation system network tuning experience
Oracle Operation Center application experience

Day-to-Day
This person will be providing engineering support for a new Enterprise Test Center. They will be troubleshooting all software and hardware issues; specifically with SendMail and Solaris Operations manager. They will be responsible for running Perl and Shell scripts along with virtualizing servers and documenting issues.
