Job Title : Oracle DBA

Location: Spartanburg, SC

Duration : 6+ Month Contract

Must-haves 

5-7 years of Oracle DBA experience 

Unix Shell scripting experience 

SQL database experience 

Python Programming 

Warehouse management experience 

Retail background 

Manhattan retail software 

Day-to-Day 

We are looking for a mid-senior level Oracle Database Administrator to join one other DBA on site at a large retail client.

This candidate will be working in a warehouse environment and supporting roughly 40-50 Oracle and SQL Databases that have approximately 10 proprietary and off the shelf applications running. 

Daily tasks will include: working on requests for user IDs, adding space and new database information, performance testing and production support. Candidates must be proficient in Shell scripting to make necessary changes and updates. 

They're currently running version 11 of Oracle and they will be tasked with helping to maintain the data warehouse.
