Install, configure, and maintain Sun Servers (Solaris 9/10/11/11.1) and Red hat Linux
Install Linux on VMware environments
Design, deploy, and administer production server environments globally
Expertise in supporting Sun hardware like T3, T4. M-series, T-series V880, V480, and running Solaris operating system
should have knowledge x86 blade server (HP)
Configure and administer Solaris Zones and Containers on Sun Solaris 10 operating system
Sun Virtualization, LDOM, and Server Sizing
Configure and administer ZFS, SVM, LVM and vxvm file systems
Physical to virtual migration (p2v)
HBA firmware upgrade
HBA driver upgrades and resilience testing
Install and configure high availability RAC clusters
Install and maintain Solaris Jumpstart. Flair and AI environment
Patch and package administration
Storage migration on different file system
Technical, analytical and interpersonal skills required
Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small business environment
