Job Role: Application DB2 DBA

Location: Jersey City


This candidate will be responsible for bridging the design and the development of the Data Warehouse. The ideal candidate will be a senior application DBA who is an expert in Data Modeling and architecture, performance tuning, logical & physical database design, database security, storage layout & management, network connectivity, capacity management & planning. This is a back-office environment and this team works with a multi-terabyte DB2 database.

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and general understanding of financial services industy
  • Data Modeling experience: logical and physical modeling. 
  • Expert with DB2
  • UNIX 
  • VI Scripting for automation 
  • ER Studio
  • Experience with credit or market risk is a plus
