Role : Business/Data Analyst (SAP BW)
Location: Arlington, VA
Locals to VA/MD/DC highly preferred .Non locals okay too.
Length: 6-9months
I have an immediate need for a Sr. Business/Data SAP BW Analyst . Details below. The client will hire off a Skype interview BUT I will need references with candidates subs. (THIS IS A MUST) H1 candidates OK. Outside of the actual job itself; Communication, Critical Thinking, Presentation skills are extremely important. (Communication skills need to be a 9-10/10. Nothing less)
The client is really motivated in hiring this person.
An enterprise client needs an experienced Business or Data Analyst to support the development and roll-out of technology projects in data warehousing, analytics and reporting. The incumbent will work directly with project leaders to ensure the timely and successful implementation of technologies that support our business people to improve processes, make better business decisions, and increase value for the organization.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline (Finance, Supply Chain, IT, etc)
· Minimum of 5 years' experience using SAP BW data warehousing and reporting solutions, including in-depth knowledge of BEX Query Designer.
· Minimum of 5 years' experience using Business Objects Analysis for Office (Excel)
· Experience using HANA, preferred.
· Experience with visual analytics tools, preferred (Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire)
· Advanced Excel and Access skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability for high performance across multiple projects, with multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment and with multicultural teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supports senior Business Analytics team with ad-hoc data extraction and analysis from multiple database technologies (SAP BW, SAP ECC, Oracle, etc).
2. Gather clients' business requirements for Analytics projects.
3. Develop advanced queries and reports using SAP BW Query Designer and Business Objects Analysis for Office (Excel).
4. Creates prototypes of analytics solutions using Excel, Access, and/or visualization tools.
5. Maintains functional documentation of analytics solutions.
6. Collaborates with business clients on the results of data analyses: outliers, gaps, quality, etc.
7. Other duties as assigned.
