{Job Junction} Urgent Need:Data Architect/Analyst for Monterey Park ,CA

Role: Data Architect/Analyst

Location: Monterey Park ,CA

Duration: 12 Months

 

Skills required:

 

a. Know dimensional data warehousing

b. Be able to prepare mapping specs

c. Strong MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint esp.)

d. Strong ER/Win user

e. Strong verbal skills, able to present via Webex or conference calls

f. Strong writing skills, esp. when it comes to explaining data testing results or design alternatives

g. Ability to produce data flow diagrams to depict data processing functionality

 

Activities required:

1 Determine the correct design for the problem at hand

2 Conduct data profiling

3 Write the DDL (including GRANTs, synonyms, etc.)

4 Develop a space estimate and partitioning strategy

5 Determine indexing needs

6 Create/enhance data model

7 Create the CM in HP SM

8 Promote the code to DEV

9 Unit test data in DEV

10 Document the unit test results in DEV

11 Promote the code to TST

12 Unit test the data in TST

13 Document the results in TST

14 Create the CM document (implementation plan, etc.)

15 Update the CM itself

16 Get the CM approved

17 Promote the code to production

18 Validate the code in production

19 Validate the data in production

20 Register final disposition of the CM and close it
